Tom Silva

Thomas (Tom) D. Silva, President and owner of Triple S Construction Co. Together with his father, brother, and a dedicated team of professional craftsmen have built the company to what it is today, a full service remodeling and new build construction company. Tom’s entire working career groomed and prepared him for the position of president and co-founder of the company.

It all began in his formative years; many days after school Tom spent time with his brother-in-law on framing projects picking up scraps of wood and absorbing the nuances of the trade. Upon completion of high school he began working as a general laborer for local construction companies. During this time, he learned how to frame, roof, side and install doors and windows, eventually leading to new builds.

Tom is licensed and registered in the states of Massachusetts and Connecticut and is a standing member of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Western Massachusetts (HBRAWM) for which he served as past president and board member.

Community involvement is no stranger to Tom, as his family’s roots are deeply dedicated in the areas of healing (medical field) and philanthropic activities. He volunteers his time and expertise on various projects including the Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity (GSHFH), as his father did before him, and Rebuilding Together Springfield. Tom also serves on the advisory board for the Career Tech - Carpentry School located in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

Dave Silva

David (Dave) H. Silva is a general partner (semi retired) and a registered engineer in the mechanical engineering field.

Dave started the Triple S Construction Co. with his son Tom in 1987. A mechanical engineer by profession, Dave worked many years in the paper industry as a project engineer, plant manager, and vice president of manufacturing. Although semiretired, Dave still devotes his time and attention in the operational side of the business.

He is a standing member of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Western Massachusetts (HBRAWM) and a former advisor and volunteer for the Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity (GSHFH).

Matthew Silva

Matthew (Matt) Silva, Lead Carpenter, joined the company in 1988. Prior to joining the company Matt spent his early career in the residential construction field with a focus on residential remodeling and additions. As lead carpenter, Matt consistently garnishes high quality craftsmanship to every detail within a project, an essential part of the Triple S Construction Co. quality.
